I just spent the last 36 hours obsessing over an idiom I needed for a fic that I couldn't remember until a few minutes ago. I couldn't write a word until I got past it. :P

I spent almost 3hrs last night combing through files and references trying to recreate an authentic- as in referencing the right games and matches and right nick and RANKINGS for the MC's introduction of a real player... I wanted to find video of the match I was basing the scene on, but finally gave up. :(
And you can't convince me that even the prompter is that obsessive over the subject. *head desk and repeat*

On the other hand, it's nice to know someone else gets stuck on those kinds of things, too. (Do I even wanna know?)

...almost 2k and they JUST got in the same room together... remind me why I do this to myself.

Hehe, you wouldn't believe how many magic references I managed to work in. :)
Oh and the pub is named after a little known theory that Arthur's armies rode black war horses and that's why in certain areas that don't normally have the big black horses there are so many pubs with the name... it was either that or Llamrei, lol.

I need an icon that says "I am geek, hear me roar," lol.
