Okay, not like I need a reason to rant about SPN, but this one is actually kinda relevant. See, I saw (as I'm sure many of you have) this little thing on BuddyTV (or the full original interview) and it struck a cord.
See for a couple years now (ever since we found out about Mary's family) I've wondered why none of the rest of the Campbell line ever took John under their wing. I mean, even it they some how missed the signs and portents around Mary's bizarre death (and why wouldn't a family that deals in the bizarre notice said bizarre death?), how could they not notice when John started hunting, you can't tell me that word never got around to a hunting family like that?
And yes I've already thought about the boys being the last of the line, but there was (and I'm trying to type and cook dinner so I'm not looking up the ep) that ep where Sam went on that info spread looking into all of Mary's friends and relatives and discovered they were all dead and some of them didn't die until well after Mary. I'm just confused and wondering how exactly they are gonna have family come out of the woodwork. Not that I'm against it, I just wanna know how they are gonna explain, what to me is, a glaring oversight.
And pls ppl remember, I'm a huge fan of the SPN paradoxes and believe that if you hang around long enough it'll be explained, more than that it'll be a fun ride! It's one of the many joys of SPN. :D
Now back to dinner. *waves*
