WHAT THE EVER FLYING FUCK!
Mys is not having a good day!
Last Tuesday when I was running all over docs and groceries and (failed attempts at) picking up meds and MORE groceries, I’d left Colin’s charger cord out because I had been using it. A wrapped it up and left it on my thesaurus. Only when I got home from the final bout of meds and groceries, my thesaurus and the stuff with it had been moved and my charger cord was nowhere to be seen. I figured in all the commotion and frustration of the day I’d forgotten that I put it up. Only yesterday when I go to reorder some files and give him a quick charge my cord’s not where I keep it.
Now, ‘m trying to stay calm Colin’s still almost fully charged and all, but I asked Pup et al to keep an eye out for it. Well, Pup got a bee in her bonnet and started looking for it, which would have been sweet if she wasn’t doing it with so much hatred and chiding me because she ‘wasn’t looking in my stuff’. I told her very calmly that that was fine, I didn’t expect her to. Anyway, today, I was trying to be vaguely sociable since she’s always accusing me of not being around everybody else, but gods they were watching some British soap and I can’t stand soaps, British or otherwise, so I tried to busy myself in the same room by looking for my cable. Somewhere in the midst of all this HS, who has commandeered the remote, changes the channel to some stupid cartoon (pls note that I do not consider all cartoons stupid just some and this was one of them *rolls eyes*). Pup then snaps at me asking what ‘m doing, so I tell her and she jumps up and starts angrily looking with me complaining and accusing and all that shit. I ignore her grumping and keep telling her she doesn’t need to look I was just taking the opportunity, to which she snaps that there’s nothing else for her to do and she’s not watching stupid shit on tv (and ‘m sitting there thinking ‘but you were willing to watch the gawd awful soap?’). Anyway, just spent an hour with her accusing me of having it in my stuff and generally being snappy.
Before that she’d gone to the eye doc with HS and HS had to have drops put in, or I thought she was going to, she sure as hells isn’t acting like she did, but anyway. As usual when she’s been out with Pup, she comes home acting like the spoilt brat she is. Anyway, in the interest of trying not to drone on (yes, I know it’s not working) we'll skip ahead to the part where I get accused of trying to start a fight with HS because I tell her she knows how to get the dog out of her lap. Yeah, I knew it was gonna be one of those days right then.
Then she starts vacuuming which she’d asked me to do and I was planning on it once I’d finished the dishes… but no. *sigh* And the whole time she’s vacuuming she’s bitching about the fact that the vacuum doesn’t work worth shit, like it’s my fault… I was the one who wanted to get a proper vacuum, she was the one who insisted on one of those little charger type that’s basically a dust buster on steroids.
THEN, when I finally give up trying to be social or anything and go back to Cas, I figure the muses are being obnoxious and sprouting absolute shit writing and she is being all SHE, so I’ll get out my frustration and play some Diablo. Well, after some fighting with the imaging files (which came down to having my Levellers CD still in the main drive, of all things), I finally got it up and running, I just get it loaded and have my little paladin wandering off to fight those bloody sand jumpers and beetles, when She jumps down my throat because “You just can’t have it silent, can you?” Hello, bitch much? She knows I like my music she knows this, she knows I sleep better with noise and that that is one of the things that, until recently, I’d given up because she didn’t like sound at night. Now with Colin I just turn him down and put on something soothing and sleep better than I have in AGES, but I digress. Point is she knows that that is a cruel thing to say, esp when all ‘m doing is playing a game!
And while ‘m at it, can someone explain to me why it is okay for everyone else in this house to wander off or do their own thing when ppl are watching things they aren’t interested in, but if I do it ‘m being unsociable and it’s like a crime against humanity or something?!? WTF!?!?!?!
As if it wasn’t bad enough that the muses have gone all buggery, I get to deal with this shit, too! And I haven’t gotten to watch Andreas from Körslaget this week. *grrr* Yes, I know it’s a teeny tiny drop in the sea of everything, but it makes me smile so bugger it!

Oh yeah, and while 'm looking for the cord and NOT freaking out, she starts in on me because HS buggered up her comp and all her files are MIA and all her "Favorites" are missing and after a day or so of trying everything I knew to find the files I gave up. Now she's on about how her life is missing and all her files are gone and I keep asking her if she wants to take it in to see if the files can be found or rescued and she just yells at me that we don't have the money... What I meant was, I was being calm about the cord and she laid into me for 'freaking out' over it when she wasn't allowed to freak over her comp. I've done what I can, I think a freak out is completely in order, but don't tell me you're not allowed when you're the one not freaking!!!!!!! AND it's not like I haven't offered suggestions. And I went looking for the data discs from when we moved everything from the old comp... and I've been scouring the net for days trying to find anything to help, even looking to see if it's a new virus or something and notta. Then she treats me like it's my faullt!?!?! It was HS who she let's on the comp and lets her push all the buittons not paying attention to her or what they are... who was on the comp when it went buggery. But somehow I should be able to fix it apparently... 'm not a comp tech, what I know about comps I know because I broke them that way or on occasion managed to fic them because of it.
It's not my fault.
And she's the one always saying that if it's important she can find the money for, so why she says we can't suss the money to take the comp in I don't understand. Ya ask me she's just being obstinate and taking it out on me. Not happy.

rainbow_connec and I were talking t'other day about 3x11 and the whole “talk” Gilli goes into, and like I told her, I don’t agree with a lot of ppl about it, but that’s neither here nor there, least I don’t think it is, lol.

merlin_land, so scenes and stuff have been coming into play a bit more than normal. And well, I was going over “The Dragon’s Call” and that scene where Gaius gives Merlin what for for using his magic against Arthur, and was struck by exactly how similar Merlin’s reactions were to Gilli’s. It just made me think that contrary to how most ppl see the scene(s) in 3x11 as calling Merlin to the carpet, it was more, or at the very least just as much, showing how much Merlin has grown from being the rash young man he was to being a more thoughtful and yes, wise, man. rainbow_connec and I had already talked about how powerful an ep it was, but that realization just took it to yet another level for me. It wasn’t just about relationships and Arthur’s growth, but also about Merlin’s. Makes me even sadder that they didn’t use more of that in “The Coming of Arthur”. :(

I love your point about Merlin's growth. I think that's something that's often overlooked in the show because we're all so concentrated on Arthur's growth or Gwen's cleavage or Morgana's smirking (sorry, couldn't resist :D).
Let's hope we see more of it in S4. I think we might get lucky on this one. ;D

Wait a sec, Gwen's got cleavage? Sorry, guess I was blinded by Merlin's smile or possibly distracted by his cheekbones. (Note how I am quite maturely NOT making comments about Arthur's "growth" or exactly where said "growth" can be best seen *coughunsheathingcough* or saying things about how in certain eps Arthur's growth was quite obvious and how lucky he was to have Merlin around to help him handle it. :P )
I think (hope) they've put them in a position where they'll have to show it/follow that line. Unless they start focusing solely or overly much on the knights. Of course, I guess that could be said to be one of the great talents of the writers (they have to have some, afterall, for us to forgive ALL those plot holes, lol) making us focus on this or that aspect and letting the real nut of the thing, Merlin's growth, slide in under all the sword swinging.

Colin has such a wonderful face. I think if given the chance to meet one person from the show I would pick him in the end (oh forgive me ASH). It would be tough to decide but I have a thing about Irish boys.
I was chatting with someone else about how I thought this show was just one big retelling of Johnny's and Julian's days at camp. I can see lots of Arthur, Arthuring around with the Knights this series. I don't think they would interfere too much with the Arthur/Merl story because it seems as if they want to have those moments between them. Although, I've been so wrong before.

I'm always debating whether or not to post my Merlin icons, I don't have a lot, only about 40 I guess, and I don't really consider myself graphically oriented. I used to post my James and Spander and even most of my SPN icons around, but... I don't know when I consolidated everything else I kiinda stopped. *shrugs*

I would love to see that (*coughsandlessgwenkissingcough*), work on the trust and foundations to make Camelot the Camelot we know. That would great to see.
I want to see things like how Gwaine and Lance get on, since they're so different yet Merlin's closest friends outside of Gwen and Arthur. And I'd love to see Gwaine's open opinion about Gwen and Lance's pining, can't you see that conversation with Merlin, lol. And how things are gonna change with having someone else, a KNIGHT no less, around who knows about Merlin's magic. I'd love to see Lance trying to work as a bridge to get Merlin to tell Arthur, pointing out to Arthur when magic was used for good, suggesting that some things need a magical touch (NOT like that- perv) to fix/succeed, generally, openly, and honestly trying to talk to Arthur about magic. Of course, I REALLLLLLLLLY want Gwaine to know about Merlin, I need that to happen.
And bugger all if I haven't gone on again... sorry, I have mentioned I babble, yes?

You know I always thought about the knights in relation to Arthur but yeah, Merlin absolutely has all those great new relationships to work with and good too because while I adore Gaius it would be nice to see someone else give Merl some direction about his magic.

:D Yes, and these are things that plague my mind... you see why I have no friends. I don't actually mean that, just so you know. But it is why I tend to grind conversations to a halt, lol. That's one of the coolest things with you, I start on with things like that and it doesn't intimidate you. 's very much with the happy making, lol.
I agree Gaius is wonderful, but it will be so nice to see Merlin with other ppl in his life he can trust and talk to. And that those ppl have such wide and varied experiences will be just wonderful to see play out.
And because it really needs to be said again- I NEED Gwaine to know! I think I may have to make a separate entry just to expound on this. Yes, I think that is what will be done. *nods sagely*

I can see Bradley turning red at the thought of someone else in Camelot being smart enough to figure out Merlin's secret before him. Me on the other hand would adore seeing Gwaine and Merlin whispering together in alcoves. ;DDD

Angel/Rupert? I don't see it, but I don't see a lot of RPF ships until they're thrust full force into my face (I only recently accepted Coiln/Bradley into my life... what's worse, I've even written it *head desk*), so that's not saying much, lololol.
