On Apocalyae and Rumours of My Death

So I just (finally) watched Stonehenge Apocalypse. And gods I haven't been that mindlessly happy in too long... I miss bad USA and SciFi (yes, I know they changed their name, but old habits, ya know) channel movies. I spent half the thing giggling because 'omgs it's SG1' and on one occasion 'ack, sneaky Cas face!', yeah, I had way too much fun with that, lol. Anyway, I just wanna know if I'm the only one whose reaction at the end involved ascension and bad SG1 fusions. *head desk*

Oh, and sorry I've been MIA, been working on my mini-Bang and trying to wrap my head around Casfest, so of course I signed up for the Sam/Gabe fic exchange, too, lol. Anyway Dean's finally taslking the way I need him to, so don't be surprised if I continue to be MIA for a while. Anywho, if anybody needs me just PM me, e-mail me, think really horrible thoughts in my direction, whatever works best. Otherwise don't worry and until further notice, the Mys is alive.

Oh, and I didn't finish watching Karla, but I quite liked it, or Misha being cute and young and reckless all the time in it, at any rate. ;-D (Dunno why the actress who was rather great as Donna in That 70's Show didn't get the memo that her part would require *actual* acting beside memorizing her lines, though; she's leaving a lot to be desired with her performance. :-( ) So thanks for making me watch that, as well. You're just an ev0l 6D pimper in disguise, aren't you? *eyes you*

*nods* I know what you mean, I think towards the end someone may have mentioned that to her, but I could be completely off, lol. Misha was really amazing in it. One of these days I'm gonna find the interview/panel/whatever the heck it was where he said he hated it and didn't want any of us to watch it. I just wanna know the context or if he actually said why.

I recall him saying that about *one* of his previous roles, but can't remember if he meant Karla or not. He did say that he was surprised himself by how dark he could be during the making of Karla, though, but that was in another interview/con - maybe in Italy?

But, what I’ve seen/have:

- 24- he’s half naked and long haired, what you mean I was supposed to be paying attention

- Close to Home- meh, pretty shot of Misha’s ass and handcuffs, here endth my interest

- CSI- now, I may be prejudiced since I’m a total CSI whore, but this is one of my FAVOURITES!!!! Let’s put it this way, I had of course seen the ep in question years before I knew who Misha was, but someone said to me ‘Oh and he’s been in a couple eps of CSI’ ‘Original?’ ‘One original and one New York.’ ‘Wait a minute, the Russian hairdresser!?!?!?!?!’ Yeah, he made an impression, lol.

- CSI:NY- there’s Misha and a piano, here endth my interest

- Charmed- oh my dear lords the things I will go through for this man! This is still the one and only ep of Charmed I have willing sat through.

- ER- meh, though there is something about Misha asleep with his guitar

- Finding Home- one of my secret, erm, likes, lol. It’s horrible, the acting is worse than bad esp the female lead, then you have Misha just being perfect and sweet with this hint of secretive possible darkness- I will watch this every time it comes on just to smile at Misha in it. (it also has BAMF!Misha)

- Girl, Interrupted- Misha was precious, I haven’t actually watched the whole film because I have MI issues and that kinda thing freaks me out (you shoulda seen how freaked I was trying to watch Sam, Interrupted…)

- The Grift- again haven’t watched it, but it actually looks vaguely interesting and Misha’s a bit of a slime, so bonus, lol

- Karla- we’ve been here, yeah

- Liberty Heights- *rolls eyes* this is probably okay, but it’s not something I’d really spend my time on, esp if you’re only watching for the Misha factor

- Monk- dude, it’s MONK! Yeah, ‘s a good one, Misha’s a charismatic drug lord, if memory serves.

- NCIS- umm, not very memorable, not even one of the better eps of NCIS

- Nip/Tuck- has anyone NOT seen it or at least that scene? and does anything else matter? It was pretty good actually and I don't even watch Nip/Tuck.

- NYPD Blue- hard one, not bad and Misha is adorable in it, but other than that…

- Over Her Dead Body- no clue, hells I’m not even sure I capped it right, lol

- Stonehenge Apocalypse- robot head!!!!!!

- 7 Days- oh my, well, not exactly high quality telly to begin with, but it is one of my favourite creepy Misha ones (besides you get to hear him do the Russian accent thing and say “Misha” a lot)

- Without a Trace- I honestly cannot remember this at all

Legacy, Par 6, Moving Alan, The Crux, Reinventing the Wheelers, and 20 Things to do Before You’re 30 I have yet to find or see.
And it REALLY should bother me that I didn’t have to look those up, lol.

I am finally going to watch the Mishapocalype. I am putting a hold on reading and hoping the wank-fest. Has stopped. I had to block 200 people from contacting me on LJ because they just would not stop.

I defended the girl they were burning at the steak for making a mistake that many white people do. I don't think she is a racist just a bit stupid and immature but she does not deserve the shit they are giving her for her J2 big bang. Because she dropped J2 in the middle of the Haitian disaster as doctors who fall in love and some of the language she used for her Black charries was a patois, her version, they are stoning her to death.

I don;t think she was being racist intentionally and after someone mentioned to her that her story may offend people she apologized. We allow a lot os thing in out communities that may offend people. We put warnings on them and people can skip them. I figure if the story bother's you don't read it. no need to continue on after the girl apologized.

Now they are critiquing her apology. It is WAY beyond stupid. I have removed myself from the situation. after saying my piece.
